The acting, script and effects are all first class. The film has got a fabulous storyline, which ties in to Episode 4 (the original Star Wars Movie). Dont get me wrong, I really did enjoy The Force Awakens with the fresh cast of John Boyega and Daisy Ripley, but this film has got a darker edge to it and is more grown up, even though its got a 12 Certificate. This movie, is far better than The Force Awakens. Let me first say I am a fan of Star Wars, but I havent let that affect my review. As Jyn Erso's theme, which was repurposed from a section of the A New Hope track "Tales of a Jedi Knight/Learn About the Force," appears frequently throughout the Rogue One soundtrack, any appearances of Erso's theme is denoted with a * symbol.
